It is cold outside!
We are feeling festive at Hendra! It has even snowed in some parts of Cornwall! Not at Hendra though, but there has been a festive sprinkle of frost on the Park. The outdoor pool looked rather different too with a coating of ice on the top.
Looking to 2023…
Hendra are very excited to be celebrating Christmas with our families and looking forward to 2023 and sharing all of the new and exciting developments at Hendra with you. We can’t wait to see the finished Terrace Bar and Restaurant, which will be newly refurbished with extra seating and have a completely new look. Hendra’s sure that you will love it! There will also be a new menu. After all, food is important and it makes Christmas and a holiday special.

In our 50th year we have created lots of family memories for guests, staff and ourselves, the owners. This year has marked 50 years of family holidays at Hendra, something that we are particularly proud of. It is heart-warming to read and hear about guests’ memories of Hendra. Here are a few:

It is the place that the owners still call home too, and much care and thought is put into the running, updating and maintaining the Park.
Our extra sparkle!
We are a 5 star and 5 Pennant Park. This year we have won a few awards too. Our grounds are always getting mentioned by guests in the reviews, feedback and to us while you are on Park. The Grounds Team take so much pride in their work here, and all the flowers and shrubs you see are grown here at Hendra. We were all delighted to win the Amberol Trophy, from South West in Bloom, for the Best Business Floral Display. Hendra also scooped a few awards at the Cornwall Tourism Awards last month: Gold for Best Holiday Park, our very own Park Manager, Chris North, won the Silver for the Unsung Hero category and we were over-the-moon to also win the Winner of Winners Award.

It has been a wonderful year for us at Hendra, thanks to our staff, and you, our guests! We love that you choose Hendra as your holiday destination, and many of you return again and again.
