Jobs and Careers at Hendra Holiday Park

Hendra Holiday Park has a range of seasonal roles available now. There’s something to suit you across our different departments.

At Hendra, we strive to create a positive and productive team, who can thrive working here and help the park thrive too.

We are advertising all of our roles on Indeed. Mainly our roles are seasonal, but sometimes there are permanent roles available. We have our Recruitment Day on the 19th of February at Hendra Holiday Park. You can also send in a CV and covering letter to: jobs@hendra-holidays.com

Lifeguards

Opportunities are available for both trainee and experienced lifeguards to work in this important role with a great team. NPLQ training available (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification).

Reception and Bookings Team

Our Reception and Bookings Team are many guests main contact with us, so it is important that we have team members who are happy to help make all customers and guests have the best experience possible.

 

Entertainer

Entertainment is a huge part of many guests’ holiday, and it is often the reason that they return year-upon-year. If you have that special sparkle, then perhaps this is the role for you.

Park Warden and Security

Keeping a safe, family friendly environment is crucial. Park Wardens check the site and make sure things are safe and guests leave on the right dates.

Security – Security is required in the evenings and through the nights uphold the safe atmosphere.  SIA badge required.

Accommodation and Facilities Cleaning

Keeping the accommodation and facilities clean is so important to guests, and is something that we strive to keep to a high-standard.

Be part of our hard-working team and make sure that guests enjoy their stay as soon as they set foot into their accommodation and our facilities.

Roles include:

  • Accommodation Cleaner.
  • Accommodation Supervisor.
  • Facilities cleaner.

Food and Beverage

Work in our Terrace Bar and Restaurant, which has recently been refurbished. Or one of our other Bars and eateries on the Park.

Roles include:

  • Chef
  • Fish and Chip Shop Server
  • Kitchen Assistant
  • Front of House
  • Duty Restaurant Managers and Supervisors
  • Kitchen Porter
  • Glass Collector
  • Bar person
  • Ice Cream Shop Server

Working with Local Schools

It is important to us at Hendra Holiday to Park to work with the local community. One of the ways that we do this is by making sure that we support local schools by attending career’s fairs, and helping to give young people the confidence to speak to adults as well as an insight into life post-education in the working world.

Work Experience

We aren’t taking applications for work experience at the moment, but we will update here when applications are open again.

Hendra in the Community

Hendra offers holidays in Cornwall, and has been around for over 50 years. It is a well-known fixture in the local community. We like to make sure that we work with our community when we can.

This can range from locals offers, making charitable donations, and employing locally.

The card is issued at after a probation period. The card holder must be present to claim these discounts, and they can be used for you and up to 4 family members or friends. Card must be presented to claim the discount: no card = no discount. All discounts can be amended or removed at any time.
