Children’s entertainment fills every day with excitement and fun!

There's plenty of things for kids to do at Hendra.

Here at Hendra Holiday Park we know how to keep your little ones entertained. From meeting our friends Henry and Henrietta Hippo, to Pirate Treasure Hunts, to our amazing activities, arcades and play areas, we know how to make your family holiday unforgettable.

Our daily children's entertainment

To begin your day, catch the Hendra Land Train at 9am, (free to all), for a tour around the park! While you grab a bite to eat in our many eating facilities, look out for Henry or Henrietta Hippo in the Terrace Bar & Restaurant, hunting around for breakfast, and new friends!

We have plenty of children’s entertainment in The Venue every evening, including kids time with Henry or Henrietta, party games and dance competitions!

There will be loads of fun around site and in The Venue during your stay. Bring your dancing shoes and boogie to your favourite chart music, take part in our daily activities, and meet Henry or Henrietta Hippo and your favourite crew member! Please note children need to have an adult with them at all times.

Henry's Playloft

Henry’s Playloft is our fabulous indoor play facility for children up to 10 years, with a tots area for the under 2s!  Mums & Dads can watch from the seating area where there are snacks and refreshments available. There’s also free WiFi available. Hendra Membership (Entertainment) cards (included when you book directly with Hendra) are required for guest free entry otherwise a small charge applies.

Quiet Sessions 

Everyone loves playing, but sometimes the noise and number of children can be overwhelming. With this in mind, we are now offering our peaceful play sessions.

Our quiet hour in the Playloft is for children who have different needs and prefer a more peaceful play experience with no music and reduced numbers. There is no need to book and the sessions take place on the on Tuesdays, 1.30pm until 2.30pm and on Thursdays from 4pm – 5pm.

Play Areas

Explore our exciting outdoor play park for all ages! Fly high on the swings, scramble around on the rock climbing wall, or explore Henry’s Pirate Ship, with climbing frames and slides! There are areas here for all ages, located right next to the Fish and Chip shop and Pizzeria if the little ones get hungry after playing!

Take advantage of our sports field while you’re here too. It’s the perfect place if you fancy a kickabout with a football, a friendly game of badminton, or a cricket competition – great for the whole family!

We have 3 amusement arcades on site that are perfect for all ages. Have a go on the classic penny machines or try to win a toy to take home!

Take a Splash in our Pools!

Our Outdoor pool is open from May half term. Sit back on the sun loungers with a cocktail from the Terrace, or splash around in the water!

You can also visit our indoor Oasis Fun Pools with fun flumes, river rapids and waterfalls! The indoor fun pools have a small charge, see more here.

Booking is not required for the Outdoor Pool. Sessions for the Oasis Fun Pools can be booked online.

On-Site Activities

We have a range of activities on site including our mini 4x4s and Segway experience for little adventurers and thrill seekers! During the peak weeks, we have extra activities running including our dance and football academy which the little ones will love. See our latest on-site activities and how to book them here*.

Each season, we also have a selection of themed breaks with extra activities and guest appearances to keep the little ones entertained! Visit us for Easter, Summer or Halloween, or join us for one of our special themed weekends for an exciting getaway!
