Over 50 years of Hendra Holiday Park
Hendra Holiday Park is a family-owned, multi-award-winning, 5 star independent Park. First having opened in 1972, Hendra is now in its 53rd year, celebrating our 50th birthday in 2022.
We have come a long way since we opened in 1972, as a touring Park and now have a range of accommodation available, including our newest editions the Meadow Lodges and Watergates, as well as our new Chestnut House.
Still Family Run Today…
Hendra is still run by the May and Hyatt families today, who are involved with the day-to-day running of the Park.
Hendra prides itself on offering fantastic family and couples’ holidays in Cornwall, whilst recognising the importance of sustainability in the holiday industry. We want to look after Hendra, Cornwall, and Newquay so that we can continue to offer holidays for next generations to enjoy.
Hendra means ‘home farm’, and we hope that you feel at home here too, nestled in the Cornish countryside just minutes away from the beautiful, north coast, Cornish coastline.
